MARRYING ME makes its New York City debut as part of New York Theatre Barn's NYTB in the D-Lounge series on September 22 at 7:30 PM at the D-Lounge (101 E. 15th Street). Presented with another new musical, SEAWIFE, this concert version of the show will feature 9 songs sung by an all-star Malaysian and Broadway cast. Tickets are $15 and available here. MARRYING ME premieres in Malaysia! First in Penang at penangpac on December 5 and then in Kuala Lumpur at KLPAC on December 13, where it enjoys a sold out run. The show was originally commissioned by KLPAC and director Christopher Ling, who helmed the original productions. The production featured choreography by Lex Lakshman, music direction by Stephen Tok. The cast included Stephanie Van Driesen, Sandra Sodhy, Tony Leo, Chang Fang Chyi, Joel Wong, Benjamin Lin, Ho Lee Ching, Muhaimin, Yi Qing, and Aaron Lo. Learn more about the KLPAC production here.

We were also nominated in 3 additional categories: Best Choreography (Lex Lakshman), Best Book/Lyrics (Mark Beau DeSilva/EllaRose Chary), Best Music DIrection [including composition] (Onn San).
