CHRISTOPHER LING ï»¿-DIRECTOR AND PRODUCTION DESIGNER

Christopher Ling is the Artistic Director of Theatre 360, where he recenetly directed the first Malaysian production of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA. He was awarded the Boh Cameronian Arts Award for Best Direction (Musical Theatre) in 2012. He also received the Anugerah Seni Negara (National Arts Award) Young Talent Award for Theatre Directing in 2009. Christopher trained in Drama and Theatre Arts at Middlesex University, London and with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. 

​STEPHEN TOK - ï»¿MUSICAL DIRECTOR & ARRANGER

Stephen Tok received his Bachelor of Music degree in both Piano and Voice Performance from West Virginia University and his Master of Music degree in Performance (Collaborative Piano) from Bowling Green State University in the United States. Stephen divides his time teaching Appied Piano, Applied Voice and Singers' Diction at UCSI University and teaching at Bentley Music Academy where he is Head of Vocal Studies and a senior piano instructor. In addition, he teaches at StART Society (a non-profit organization that provides fine and performing arts classes to under-privileged children.) Stephen was awarded for Best Musical Direction at the 2012 BOH Cameronian Arts Awards, for the Malaysian premiere of THE LAST FIVE YEARS by Jason Robert Brown. He was also Vocal Director for Michael John LaChuiasa's thought-provoking musical BERNARDA ALBA, and has guest-judged at the annual Short + Sweet Festival (Musical) hosted by KLPAC. 

​LEX LAKSHMAN BALAKRISHNAN ï»¿- CHOREOGRAPHER

A graduated of the National Arts Academy, ASWARA, Lex Lakshman Balakrishnan loves making dance, fusing traditional and contemporary elements in his works. He was the choreographer for KLPAC's KAKI BLUE (2009), The Actor's Studio's ADAM THE MUSICAL (2010), MALAYSIAN GIRLS (2011), PAPER CRANE (2012), KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN (2012) and recently BROKEN BRIDGE (2013). Besides these, he can also be seen on stage as an actor, dancer, singer and was awarded the Bintang Irama 1 Malaysia in 2010. Currently the Choreographer-in-residence for KLPAC, his recent works include choreography for Jason Robert Brown's THE LAST FIVE YEARS and SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, TY4P's A HISTORY OF FALLING THINGS by James Graham and CARTOON by Steve Yockey. Lex also choreographed IPOH.MY in 2011, involving special children from Peratuan Daybreak, Ipoh. Lex also staged his own production of Nitya Sumangali, fusing both contemporary and traditional Indian dances with drama.
